For the longest time, PET packaging and containers were excluded from local curbside collection. That meant these items were ending up in landfills rather than recycling facilities. Our sister company BMP Recycling has found innovative ways to recycle this valuable material, making these previously “difficult to recycle” packaging containers a robust part of the recovery process. Our commitment to sustainability continues to drive us to create out-of-the box solutions that set us apart.

By adopting a highly integrated process in our facilities, we are able to manufacture recycled content PET sheet and thermoform our packaging and containers entirely in-house. This process not only means that we have complete end-to-end quality controls, we also avoid the carbon emissions that would result from outsourcing and logistics.

The path to sustainability is circular.
Our process starts and ends in the same place. We purchase PET plastic bales from municipal recycling facilities in Canada and the Northern US. These plastics are sorted and ground into flakes then washed and purified to produce containers, clamshells and trays. Once these PET products have been used, they can be recycled through local curbside collection programs. Then the journey begins all over again.
